Well guys after the Navistar shooting where every government check failed to stop a convicted felon from killing some people, the geniuses in Springfield decided that they need more laws. This AW ban is bad. It also bans parts to convert Non-AW to AW. These thing is so bad it doesn't even sound legal (what about no post ex facto laws)? Well here is is read it and weep, I am. I will be calling my state rep and doing everything I can to prevent this bill from even coming to a vote. I sent emails to State Senators & US Senators & the Lt. Gov. yesterday asking their opinions on this matter. So far I have only heard from 1 State Senator & here is his reply : "Thank you for your email in opposition to Senator Emil Jones legislative proposal. I have always supported gun owners rights and opposed efforts for more gun control. I share your opinion that his legislative package will not deter criminals, only reduce the freedom of law abiding citizens." Sincerely, N. Duane Noland State Senator He is one of the good guys!!! We need as many people as possible to call, email or fax our reps. to let them know how we feel!! Dang! I'd have about 100 violations. Maybe more. Is it possible to pass a law against submitting stupid laws?
