Sorry I don't have a video but this weekend somebody at the range shot a USGI Ammo Can filled with water with a sniper rifle chambered in .338 Lapua. In case you are not familar with this cartridge it can push a 225gr bullet out the muzzle at 3,000 fps. This rifle will rock your world!
The ammo can was filled with water, snapped closed and positioned on top of a 4x4 post.
It was shot through the sides, 'the long way'.
The impact of the bullet blew the top off, it went about 30 feet in the air. We never did find the latch, it must have landed in the woods somewhere, or maybe it became the worlds newest space satellite.
The force of the bullet drove the body of the can down hard on the 4x4, creating a depression in the bottom about 2 inches deep. It also split it open at the top down one of the seams until it was almost flat.
Oh, the guy who shot the rifle was a 5' 9" guy, maybe 140 pounds soaking wet....
MAN O MAN!
