Is $1095 to much to pay for a one-owner Colt CAR-15 purchased in 1982, with about 2000 rounds fired from it? Thanks.

i am no pro on prices. but i would buy it, and i don't even need it.

I've seen worse. I guess thats not too bad. I paid $1200 for my SP1 that had 100 rounds through it. If I were you, and I had the money, I would probably get it depending on the shape it is in.

I would definately say that is a good buy. You may need to replace the barrel in a while. But overall a good buy.

Let's put it this way. In central Texas last year, I bought a pre-ban Colt Goverment Carbine, ANIB, with box, mags, all accessories, etc. for $1450.

Last week, I saw 2 CAR-15's, used, no box or accessories. One was $1950, the other $2150.

They're not getting cheaper, at all.
