Funny you post this, because in the Washington Post today, Joe Lockhart, former White House Press Secretary, is promoting a "third way" approach to gun control. I'm like, so does this mean I can convert my AR-15 to full auto responsbily now? I am a responsible citizen, and I pose no threat to the little children of the world, so why can't I own a new M4A1, with

Lockhart's article is classic, Clintonian triangulation.
One fact he has right is that the vast majority of gunowners are not members of the NRA (or any other RKBA organization, either). If a majority of the nation's gunowners voted as a single-issue voting bloc, we could write our own ticket. Sad point is, most gunowners just plain don't care enough to get off their asses and actually do some WORK to preserve the RKBA. |
