I saw a documentary about this guy on the Discovery channel a year or so ago.  Very neat stuff.  He was so well perserved, that the police were initially called because they thought it might be a recent murder victim.  They got there about 5000 years too late.

He's actually from the late stone age.  The fact that he had a copper axe was am amazing find.  It shows one of the earliest known uses of metal tools.  The arsenic in his system suggested to them that he was the metalsmith for his village.

Wow!  The body of a murder victim is found after 5,300 years.  Too bad there aren't any glaciers near Rock Creek Park.
