Have you seen these advertised in SGN?  Anyone have any experience with them? What I have heard is they were manufactured for the military to convert M1s to 308 but were designed to be permanent, and were "fire formed" in place with special high pressure rounds.  I know there in theory the effectively long throat would be bad for accuracy, but I am wondering if anyone has any direct experience (i.e. accuracy in an .06 with and without the insert?  Thanks for any insight.

Thanks very much!  The way they are marketing the insert in SGN is as a removable piece, allowing you to alternately shoot 308 or .06.  Is your rifle a permanent conversion?
