I have had four pit crosses... this is my pit/lab mix Miss Molly.  Great dogs...

Molly has a particularly high energy level (bit squirrelly) but she's also an incredibly good lap dog...  [:D]

I've got a pit bull bitch dog. Probably one of the best behaved dogs I've ever owned. She sounds mean when people come to the door, but once inside she just wants attention and will lick all over ya.

She's white with a couple of brindle spots and a brindle mask, kind of looks like the old Colby style dogs. Hopefully I'll be breeding her soon, a guy I know has a good looking dog with good blood lines and he's got a great temperment as well. If only she'd come in heat, she's a bit late.

Wish I could post a pic, but no digicam. If anybody else has pics, please post them.

Here is my boy - his name is Debo! ABDA Registered American Pit Bull Terrier. He will be one year old on the 17th of August. He's got more energy and more muscle than either of us know what to do with. He is really kind and loving.

We started here...

...and here we are for now.

In another year he will be fully grown. BTW, he thinks he is a lap dog also, Miss Magnum. I know a lot of Pit Bulls that are like that.

Sorry, but he is as much a Staffordshire as he is a poodle. He and his parents are ADBA registered... which means American Pit Bull Terrier. I have no time for the likes of the AKC - who cannot tell the difference between the two breeds (funny how the the ADBA and the UKC can). Anyone who is reasonably familiar with the APBT can tell the difference between the two beeds easily.

Have owned a half dozen or so, my uncle used to breed them. Never been bitten by anyone of them, very pleasant toward me and family, most didn't like strangers. Of course if another dog got in the yard watch out. I have only had one that wouldn't fight another dog on sight, but it was because I raised him with other dogs around. Great dogs!!!!

Just wanted to point this out to stress how important it is to socialize our pets.  You people with the am staffs and PBTs are next on the list of the banners, so do right by your pets and socialize them with other dogs as well as people.

I love pits but when we go to the dog park, seven out of ten times it is a pit with an irresponsible owner that is starting fights, and they often get bloody.

To me people who don't socialize their pets are like people who keep their finger on the trigger as they wave a gun around.

Sorry, not meant to flame you schv, this is just a pet peeve of mine.

Plus my girl took reserve both days this weekend and they were majors, so I'm a little peeved to start with. [:)]

BTW, beatiful puppies MM and tyler. [:)]

I did but somebody killed her.

It was about 5 years ago, I kept her inside and outside. Tell me if this doesnt sound a bit fishy. I walk her around the neighborhood and tie her up to the cable at around 9AM, I leave and go to my cousins house we do what we have to do and I get home around 4PM.

Here is my dog laying on her side drool and puke running out of her mouth, she died a few minutes after I got home. My dog was jumping around happy when I left and is dead 7 hours later, something is fucked up here. Then again I could be wrong..

BTW she wasnt a menace or overly agressive towards any people or other dogs, that I know of anyways. She never ran loose except on my friends farmlands, she was either in my house or chained to a 50ft cable sunk in concrete. If somebody did something I don't see the point in it considering a neighbors Cocker Spaniel would tear your head off if you had the audacity to walk down the street near their house.

Sorry to hear that man.  That is why I insist we keep our dogs inside instead of the yard while we're at work, though the wife wants them to have the opportunity.

BTW, the worst dogs in our neighborhood are a Rottie and a Standard Poodle that are kept in a side yard all day.  They will lunge at the fence when you walk by and when they can't get to you they start fighting each other.  Have already bitten two dogs that I know of when they have been outside the fence.  Stupid ass owners.

All the pits that have been owned by friends of mine have all been the sweetest, best dogs.  Again sorry for your loss, that really sucks.[:(]
