First off is there such a thing as a post ban Galil? And what is needed to be able to legally own a SBR?

There should be a Galil Sporter imported by Springfield I believe.  However, I believe it's a banned weapon as well.

It doesn't look as good as the "real deal".

Sorry, can't find a pic of it anywhere on the web.

sounds good, except for the price...  $1600 seems a bit high for a postban.  I've seen fixed stocked prebans for a bit over $2000.

I wonder if they make one with a folding stock permanently welded open?

Just to down you more ultima ratio, another dealer here in Finland has Galil ARMs and some MARs in stock, price is about 1285 USD [:)].

My boss had an ARM about 3 years ago, the weight makes it a joy to blast mag after mag on full auto [uzi]

This stock is made by ACE Ltd. for AKs. It is available as fixed or folding stock. I'm sure there is a way to mount it to a Galil/Galil Copy.

Looks a little bit like the original Galil folding stock, right?

Those prices from that company for those postbans are far too high, look they where charging 900$ for a postban SAR 2 when you can buy them for 300$

Well i already have the stock on my SAR-1. Still need a decent hand gaurd and was thinking about wheather it would be worth it to weld on a turned up bolt. any idea where i could get a straight gas tube??
