Got a ticket for doing 77 miles over the speed limit - which was 70 back then. We just called them 455s with "Tri-Power" (Chrysler called their 3x2s "six packs") |

Mine has a single 4 barrel, Most of what makes it a "RAM AIR" has to do with the heads, cam, intake ports, and manifold. Its rated at someting like 370 hp....and a BUTTLOAD of torque. I miss driving it. |

455SD:Wilson I guess your up again. View Quote It's your turn, or Beagles747. Oh, the hell with it - EXACTLY what was under the hood of the car that Lt. Bullet ran off the road (& what shotgun got burned up in it)? |
Actually the last tri-power was on the '66 GTO. All 4-barrels after that.
The Charger in Bullit had a stock 440 w/ a 4-barrel and a torqueflight. The car was bought new and unmodified. They did add real skinney tires to give the Mustang a fighting chance.

shotgun was a model 97 Winchester pump. Anything else you need to know about Bullit?
Ok Here's an easy one.
What was the year model of John Wayne's car in McQ? |
Nope. It was a model 97. Look when he loads it in they car then turns it over. It's got a HAMMER.
'71? Close, but wrong. |
Ok I'll give ya a hint. The Trans Am looks like a '71 but they color is Brewster Green.
