saw that weaver makes a rail adapter to mount optics onto a mosberg 500- will this also work on the 590a1? will the ghost ring aperture block usage? if so, does anyone have experience with modifying the 590a1 to include a top weaver rail and an optic such as the aimpoint comp m or trijicon reflex?

If you have ghost rings or a side saddle they have to be removed. I believe the weaver is smiliar to the B-Square which attaches to the left side of the receiver by way of replacing the ejector screw and the trigger housing takedown pin with threaded set screws.
