my god new york was liberal way back then "Political opposition to the promotion of marksmanship in New York forced the NRA to find a new home for its range. In 1892, Creedmoor was deeded back to the state and NRA's matches moved to Sea Girt, New Jersey." if only they had lobbied we might not have the BS nfa "In response to repeated attacks on the Second Amendment rights, NRA formed the Legislative Affairs Division in 1934. While NRA did not lobby directly at this time, it did mail out legislative facts and analyses to members, whereby they could take action on their own."

Sweep, You can sign up for a two day class in the M16, as well as the M9 pistol. The Army's AMU gives them as part of its mission. They're called Small Arms Firing School or SAFS. Maybe more like range conditions, but still pisses off the Schumers of the world. Norm

And the fact that the NRA was started by ex-Union Officers after the War of Northern Agression (Civil War for you yankees ) because they were not pleased with the marksmanship of the troops during the war.
