My turntable was in the design class where it could be stood on end or even placed upside down, without ever skipping a beat, but it WAS NOT one of those Linear Drive pieces of $hit they sold for a few years. I should clarify that Bang&Olufson's linears were awesome, but everyone eles' sucked! Hell, we also didn't need strobes on the turntables to adjust the platter speed either. With some great weed and a black light, we were good to go! [*] Anyone under 30 probably won't have a clue as to anything I've posted here tonight, so you may as well quit racking your brains trying to figure it out... I'm just reminiscing! Mines just an standard AR-15 over a keystone. The keystone is the symbol of my state(PA) and the AR symbolizes freedom, and the power to keep my state free.
