There is a natural pause at he end of every exhale. Don't force it out. Just a regular, relaxed exhale, hold and squeeze....pow.

A competition pistol shooter, a good one, taught me this method. It's called "shooting on a relaxed lung." It works.

I second the "fart" technique. Helps, with the forward momentum of the body helps the bullet go just a bit faster. WTF were you thinking?? Fart. Yea, I fart in your general direction!!!
