Conservatives are on teh defensive, trying to maintain what the Founding Fathers established. As has been often said, "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty."

Leftists are on the offensive trying to remake this country into a socialist country.

If leftists fail at their objective, they stand to lose NOTHING. If conservatives fail at our objective, we stand to lose EVERYTHING.

Leftists ONLY stand to gain (free food stamps, welfare, gay rights, bigger gov't programs)

Conservatives ONLY stand to lose (freedom, tax dollars, firearm rights.)

And YES, I do believe you can anticipate a shorter life expectancy when you are a conservative. The pressure you are constantly under is much more intense.

Regardless of who did the study (but it DID come out of Berkley), the report just said that Repubs have more nightmares than libs.

The inference was made that we get them because we don't live in La-La-Land like the utopian libs and have a better sense of the dangers in the world.
