Probably been asked before but I cant find it, Although I spend a good amount of money on my gun collection my other money pit seems to be competing for first place. Here is a picture, I'll be glad when it's done.
So, what do you put off a gun purchase for???

Since I have discovered the NFA world all of my money that doesn't go to bills either goes to guns and ammo or to my wife to keep her happy when I buy more guns and ammo......

Food, fuel, housing, transportation, and taxes. If I didn't have all those bills to pay, I could have some really nice shooters. [>Q]

A weakness for military binoculars.

Found a pair of Fujinon M22's on Ebay week before last.  Snapped them up for $500.

Everything else in life. Ex, daughter, car, computer, rent, bills, etc.

I really don't have much of a life when all is said and done. But, unfortuatly, I have more life than I have money.

In best Cartman voice, "That sucks."

Vet bills. Surgery cancelled my order for my Bushy DCM.
Post operative care cancelled my order for my Thompson Contender.

Thank god, I still have my job, unlike so many others here.

Food!  If I could make myself eat cheese sandwiches for two meals a day rather than just one, I would have about an extra $3 per day.  That doesn't sound like much, but $3 * 365 is almost $1100 per year!  I can buy a lot of ammo with that!  At $8 per 550 for 22LR, that's 75,000 rounds!

I guess the worst thing competing for my gun/ammo money is gun accessories!  $5 for a sling, $6 for CLP, $10 for cleaning patches, $10 hollow-ground screwdriver, $15 for a case, $20 nice cleaning rod, $35 spare pin & spring set, $20 punch set, $? magazines, etc., etc. really adds-up!  I keep-up with every single penny I spend, and I've spent more on junk to go with and clean my guns that I've actually spent on guns (a Marlin 22LR rifle & 1/4 of a home-built Oly).  Everything gun-related seems to be expensive!

Everything! Basically starting over again and am now back to buying a fixer upper , getting a reliable vehicle etc.
Was pretty angry about it for a while, but am actually enjoying it all again. I was lucky, a great lady found me, and decided to keep me.
She has kids, they keep things interesting, and I don't have time to dwell on the negative.

Thank God I built up and kept, a pretty fair collection beforehand. For my firearms, I am in the "I don't really need anything else" stage and am only on the prowl for a good deal or something very interesting.

Car repairs are a killer. Had all three (two trucks, and a Camry) in the shop in the last month. Only got three guns this year. Had to slow down because I'm leaving the Army and don't have a SOLID job lined up yet. Thought things were going good, until I read someone else's post who quoted  "but my life is good.. really, really good"
I wonder what medication could make life "really really good" ?????

1) Tuition
2) Rent
3) Food
4) Gasoline
5) Ammunition
6) Firearms
7) Gun Accessories
8) Computer Parts

Damn, I hope that student loan check arrives soon, the gun show is next weekend, and I have my eye on an AK-47, to supplement my 12 Gauge Shotgun. Wish I had $600 to buy the parts (Olympic Arms Kit: $479 + Olympic Arms Lower: $82 = $561) for an AR-15. Also, I installed XP and now need a new motherboard just to run this resource sucking system. I'll have to spend the money to get a new motherboard since my current one is maxed out at 256 MB of RAM. An Asus A7A266 MB ($143), 1.4 GHz Athlon CPU ($172), and 1.5 GB of SDRAM ($150) = $465.

Nothing right now.

I have a budget for my hobbies (includes guns and shooting) and I still have quite a bit of money left for this year but I just don't see anything I really want.  I'm still waiting for my LEGP so I'll spend some on Aimpoint ands mounts later and more .223 ammo.

Life has been good to me and my wife.
