You'll first have to find a distributer/manufacturer who's willing to ship it to your FFL. If you do, please let me know. :)

Except CA law disallows such freedom.

I think that if I can find a FFL willing to do the transfer in Calif. the distributor's should not have a problem with it. Blackgun

the ruling is 3 days old and you guys expect something to happen(like getting lowers) already ? most dealers and gun companies probably havent heard of it, and if they have they dont know what to make of it, and sure as hell arent gonna risk there jobs and jail time just so a couple guys can get AR lowers. id like to see the good ole days happen ASAP, but i wouldnt hold my breathe, the Attorney nazi general will have a list of guns to ban in his hands ASAP, and it will probably be provided by the antigunners. all they got to do is open up a SGN and look for anything that is black, evil, and have a "banana clip" sticking out of it. most likely this ruling will give the progunners some power and precedent when fighting these other gun laws in the future. even if we get some AR/AKs back into civilan hands i think it would take a couple months so the dealers can see what the nazi AG says and to convince the gun companies to start shipping into kalif again. think the nazi AG will drag his feet on what hes gonna tell the gun dealers? YUP think he will drag his feet on getting a new list of banned guns ? NOPE

Hey guys, cant we get the ar15.com LEGP lower? Thats what some peole were saying before. sure Bushmaster and Armalite might be hesitant, but u always know ar15.com has got your back.
Link Posted: 7/2/2001 11:33:41 AM EDT
I sent an e-mail off to Castle Arms and they said no to the LEGP because "the pistol grip is molded into the receiver". I don't know what the hell they're talking about.

I think all bushy and armalites are listed on the Lockyer list. Does the RRA LEGP lower have a model designation, as Lockyer lists the Car4 flat top on the list. mattja, you have mail.

Can someone email me who will ship to CA FFL? I know one who may do me a favor since he is a customer of mine. If he says yes, I'll let a few know about it. Thanks.

Steve, Actually that logo is original art by my friend Eggman. He superimposed the OCR state flag's bear and star over the palm tree from the old German Afrika Korps logo (remember Rommel?). The original was a stencil, which Eggman applied to both front doors of his VW Thing. It got a lot of attention. Lots of people stopped him and shouted "Kalifornia Korps!" I took the cutouts from the stencil, scanned them, cleaned it up, and applied color. It's in the public domain as far as Eggman and I are concerned.

That Kali/Afrika corps logo is cool. We should get the Kali people together and make T-shirts with that design on it.

Castle Arms said the LEGP is illegal in CA, as are all Cavalry Arms rifles.

I am going to try SOCOM about the Diamond lower and Wilson about their lower. They are not on the ban list from what I can tell. I figure that any lower produced after the ban won't be on the list. Blackgun

Actually Wilson is on the list. Maybe Les Baer? Probably pretty pricey. Diamond isn't on the list. Good luck and let us know the results. [:)]

So right now we have: Daimond, Cavalry Arms, Tormix, & ZM If you know of any others Please list. If any one can confirm that the Ca.DOJ list must name the lower exactly such as Bushmaster XM15E2S and not just Bushmaster I would appreciate a post Thanks Blackgun

I called the DOJ on 7/6, and they said that they're still reviewing the 75 pages of litigation stuff from the Harrott vs Kings County ruling. They said for the time being they will not approve transfers of AR-15 lowers. She told me to check back in a couple of weeks. I would like to know now though. =) Is what they're doing legal? Or maybe the lady that I talked to doesn't know what she is talking about? You guys can call them up at (916) 227-3703.
