Go to: www.handgunsmag.com Chuck Taylor has an article about his Glock 17, which he has 168,000 rounds through. Now he's soaked it in salt water for 6 months, and shot it while it's coated with cow shit!!!

I am glad to know that my Glock will still work if I shove it up a cows butt and fire it.

Damn, I thought the thread read Glock 17=cow shit...[:D] Impressive, but overall I have never been too impressed by the performance of my glocks. I still don't like 'em, but I do respect them.

Nice to know that Taylor still can't type:
Thus far, I've carried that pistol all over the world; Latin America, Africa, Alaska, the Philippines and Alaska to name but a few, during which it's been exposed to what can only be described as "highly abusive"

why is alaska listed twice? seems redundant, like this stupid article...

The Glock 17 most definitely qualifies for my Sh!t-hits-the-fan gun! -RoadDog

A lot of glocks seem to either be great or sh!t. A buddy of mine had a glock. He sold it because it wouldn't shoot hardly any ammo he bought for it. Always stovepiping, jamming, and all. Another friend of mine loves his and says he will never get rid of it. 2 entirely different experiences with them. I'd be interrested to learn a little more about the underwater aspect. I had heard about it a few years ago but never knew it was really possible.

Am i the only one who has realized that in the photos of THIS particular Glock in his articles, there are Glocks with three (3) serial numbers.

Chuck has outdone himself this time. [rolleyes]

Troy, since the pictures usually refer to the 168K round Glock, it would be somewhat misleading to some readers. Wear of finish for example varies between the guns, no mention which is which, so naturally you become suspicious about his tests.

I enjoy actually shooting cow shit. It's highly reactive. Even a KelTec 32 produces an amusing effect. Don't stand too close.
