Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - BAR or Rem7400 converted to M14 mags?

I was thinking of buying a BAR with a boss-cr, or a 7400 , just wondering if any good gunsmith can convert them to M-14 mags. I like 20 rounds!

you might want to get ahold of kurt of kurts custom (he has a forum on this site).  i'd go witht he bar over the 7400.  i've seen the 7400 and 7600's, i think that they are of really shotty construction--which shows in accuray.  very poor for what you'll pay.  sloth

I believe Robar does a modification for the Rem700, so they might do it for the 7400 or BAR also.  I looked into it about a year ago.  It seems like the conversion cost more than my rifle...HTH
