Since you asked:

"The house next door (has been sold to *******)" by Johnny Rebel
"Lookin' for a handout" by Johnny Rebel
"Some ******* never die, they just smell that way" by Johnny Rebel

Come to think of it, anything ever recorded by Johnny Rebel.

Anything recorded by Carl Klang

um, for real!

Queen (of all things!!!  believe it or not)

"another one bites the dust"

'Steve walks wearily down the street
'brim pukked way down low
ain't no sound but hte sound of his feet
machine guns ready to go

are ready
are you ready for this
are you standing' on you two feet
out of the doorway bulltets rip
...shootin to the soundof a beat.

another one bites the dust.

I picture a duet of DiFi and MC H Clinton.

Cheers!

Titties and Beer, by Frank Zappa.

Was at the concert in NYC where they recorded the album it's on, "Zappa in NY". Holloween night, 1978 I think. Maybe 79 or 80, who knows. I'm too old now to remember. [:)]

I thought this also was a Mettalica song?  Maybe it was a remake of the Queen song.

How about Aerosmith

"Jenny's (or Janni's) got a gun"

Video is about her blowing away her father (stepfather?) after he abuses her sexually.

That's the only way Metallica can make any good songs anymore.

Yes they remade it.

Not necessarily ANYTHING David Allen Coe did, just the ones off of his "underground" collection, which he stated he'd never perform any songs off EVER during a live show.

Johnny Rebel, on the other hand, he makes it very clear how he sees certain groups...download a rendition of "****** Hatin' Me", for example, and you will get a feel for Johnny's passion against this group.

Actually, I fully condone blowing away some guy DURING the process of sexual assault.  Janie probably shoulda waited until he tried it again to do it, instead of ex post facto.  Oh well, guess Janie wasn't too smart.

Hah!  What a bunch of snot-nosed youngsters!  [:P]

I think I was in 6th or 7th grade (1971?) when Alice Cooper released "School's Out" -

School's out for summer!
School's out forever!
School's been blown to pieces!!

I once laughed in a woman's face as she told me how worried she was about her 14 year-old daughter who was a Marilyn Manson fan.  She even went so far as to confiscate her MM CDs and worried that listening to them would cause her to take drugs, get pregnant, kill people, worship Satan, etc.  I asked her if she listened to Alice Cooper when she was in school and what her parents thought of it.

The woman just stood there in shock as her brain went into vaporlock not being able to cope with the fact that her greatest fear had come true and she had, in fact, turned into her mother.  [:D]

Steel Rat? great handle!

Totally agree with you about the parents of today. They tried to ban Marilyn Manson in Denver, meanwhile Alice Cooper, more scary than MM in my opinion, now has a chain of restaurants.

I actually think most songs would still fly today, except the racist ones.

I've been laughing about the folks worried about Marilyn Manson as well.  Does no one else remember the Queen's tender ballad, "Tie Your Mother Down"?

How about Guns N' Roses "One in a Million"?

Police and Niggers, that's right
Get out of my way
Don't need to buy none of your
Gold chains today
I don't need no bracelets
Clamped in front of my back
Just need my ticket; 'til then
Won't you cut me some slack?

Immigrants and faggots
They make no sense to me
They come to our country
And think they'll do as they please
Like start some mini Iran,
Or spread some fuckin' disease
They talk so many goddamn ways
It's all Greek to me

Radicals and Racists
Don't point your finger at me
I'm a small town white boy
Just tryin' to make ends meet
Don't need your religion
Don't watch that much T.V.
Just makin' my livin', baby
Well that's enough for me

I was in a titty bar and they started playing this song.  I couldn't believe it.  After the "Police and niggers" line, the song stopped and they changed tunes.
