I have read here on the board about fire lapping with special ammunition. I don't remember the details. Where can this ammo be acquired?

Just from a very cursory look, it looks like this ammo is JB bore paste in a bullet. Do they achieve the same results or are they for different purposes?

Try www.neconos.com/. They used to sell firelapping kits with engineering grade abrasives in different grits.

Midway USA used to sell a kit to "fire lap" a barrel. They're on-line, give them a try.

I heard that a chrome lined barrel should not be fired lapped.
