Which ammo should i use to sight in with? 100yrds, 3x9 scope, 16" Heavy. I was using surplus with horrible results. Should I use match to site in or? I will most likely shoot surplus and match (when varminting) in it.

your safest bet would be to sight in with whatever ammo your going to use when you Varmit hunt. since that is the most important sight set-up you need. after zeroing in with your varmit loads, shoot some surplus and compare the difference. then you could either move the zero back & forth between the to ammos' or leave it sighted for varmit ammo & compansate by aiming the  rifle  at a different point of impact to make up for surplus ammo
