Well, at least we made sure that they had full mags and that there was a round chambered. And all safeties were in the off position.

Here in Washington State our weapons run on triggers and bullets. The guy with the pistol clearly has his finger along side the slide. Me on one knee to the right has no magazine in the rifle, the bolt locked back and no finger inside the trigger guard. FYI, I was born with four fingers on each hand.

OK......I took at good look at the pic and read everyone's posts. So I'll ad one thing that I noticed that has not been said...

How about the use of a backstop that is primarily large rocks which cause ricochets...

Thanks Paul,

I thought I was seeing things there for a minute

I didn't see any mags in the rifles (of the two guys at bottom)and I noticed that EVERY finger that is near the trigger is flat alongside it. Plus, the guy on the left also clearly has his bolt locked back. With ANY group pic that I would ever do, I would insure that every weapon was checked by all members of the pic, so that there is no chance of A.D.

I may not like the fact that the AR-15's in the foreground were pointed at me, either, if I was in the background. It just goes against the grain (which is what sweep picked up on).

I think maybe the pose could have been worked out better, in a more saftey-conscious manner, so that anti's (as well as our own folks) would not have more evidence to use against us.

The picture hides the depth. The folks standing were about 4' behind those kneeling. I didn't see anyone get sweeped in that shot. (I'm in the back row..)
