I think nuclear should be looked at but you could put up one hell of lot of solar panels for the cost and maintenance of 1 nuclear pwr plant.

L.A./Hollywood was created by Movie Producers from New York. Chicago was founded by New York Gangsters. Broward and Palm Beach get all the New Yorkers who are too old to go elsewhere. Solution. Isolate the infected areas and put a large fence around New England's coastline (N.Y.C., Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, R.I., Liberal areas of Massachutsetts.)

When prices are capped in CA
What happens to demand?
Goes up.  People don't care if it is cheap.  They will consume the same, if not more.

What happens to supply?
Goes down.  Less people will produce for a  lower price.  There is less incentive for new business and less reason to invest in the industry.

So what will happen with price caps?
1.  The people are happy.
2.  The companies suffer.
3.  The industry draws back even more from CA.
4.  With less supply, the price goes up for    what's left.
5.  The people begin to suffer.

Then what?  More price controls?  When will people in a free market actually trust the free market system?

Well, it looks like we will have to go public a bit sooner than we had planned.

See, back in the early 50's concerned citizens got together and decided to do something about the growing socialist sentiment gaining traction in our nation.  I think it was Eisenhower who hit upon the idea of making California so attractive to these closet communists.  "Make it a big Roach Motel," Ike said.  "Get 'em all in there and then dynamite the whole damn state into the Pacific."  

Well, as you can see, the plan worked.  We didn't count on a few things, like the high-tech boom in Silicon Alley, but by and large it was a good idea.  

Now all you true Americans, you had best pack up the SUV and get the heck out, because even now a massive operation is underway.  I cannot say much except that it involves nuclear devices and the San Andreas Fault.  We had planned 1/1/2000 to light the fuse but our darned detonator wasn't Y2K compliant.  I am under orders not to divulge the fall-back date, but let's just say that by July 4 we will have to remove a star from Old Glory.

I see a bunch of posts ragging on Kommefornia (with good reason) but guess what? the ones suggesting everyone in that state chose the lib-losers running the left coast into the ground are as*holes! In case you forgot,we all have a common intrest here, and when the socialist legislature passes bulls*it laws there, usualy the socialist loosers in other states try to follow thier example.
