I was hoping that my Bennington Flag would have gotten here from Quinn Flags by now. [:(] The thing is 8'x5' and I was going to hang it from my balcony for everyone in town to see. Just called them today, and they said it wouldnt be here until Wednesday. [>(] Rat bastards. I ordered it a month ago.

BTW- For those that dont know, the Bennington Flag was the original battle colors of America. It has the 13 stripes and 13 stars in an arch over the number "76."

I was thinking about getting that one too. I would rather fly my Bennington than today's flag, because in those days, people understood what it was to be American and would rather die than give up their freedom. So I hope by flying that flag, it may serve as a reminder.

In Dc, the building right next to where I work fly 2 of the Bennington Flags every day.  They are 1776 G. Street.

I wonder if they fly it because of History, or just because of their address.

I celebrated flag day by going to the range.  1 AR, 1 M16 (semi arrg), 1 M14 and a few pistols.  Beautiful day. [:D]
