Sierra makes a 68 gr. match grade bullet. It's LOOOOOONG and needs to be seated deeply to fit into the AR magazine.

Deep seating increases working pressures. Using Varget, and the suggested 26 gr. charge, I'm getting a compressed load with this ammo.

Heavier bullets retain velocity at longer ranges. Looking for a good coyote load.

Anybody shooting stuff besides 55 gr. bullets?

Try Varget over 60gr V-Max's. Unless you want the fur. I used 25-25.5grs in those loads. I use 52s,55s,60s,63s,68s and 75s. Varget got too expensive to use, so I use milsurp now.

I've had excellent results with 69 gr bullets and a variety of powders from H 414 to IMR to BLC-2, with the latter performing the best.  Just tweek different loads till you find something that works for you.  If you're not getting signs of high pressure (blown primers, head marring, etc.) then I wouldn't worry.

Been using 25.5 gr of 748 with the 69 Sierra, seated to magazine length (2.250") for many years.  I do not recommend match bullets for any type of hunting, though.
Even the Sierra 77 grain can be seated to magazine length, but I'm not going to give that load here.
