I need some info on the SR25Ks. Does anyone own one? Pros and cons? Anyone selling one besides Knights? Thanks

I think the mags would be a problem.There scarce and even more expensive than the AR10's.Armalites recievers are forged and knights are extruded.Dont see what diffrence it makes though.Top ends from Armalite work on 25's.Never shot one though.

All I can tell you is they are high, HIGH dollar and hard to find. But you already knew that.

Mag problem??  don't they use the good old cheap fal mags?  I taught only the Ar10 used the modded expensive M14 mags.

SR25 mags are designed for the SR25. I've seen them in a waffle pattern and identical to the 20rnd AR mags only larger. The SR25 is a true copy of the AR design just enlarged.

My dealer(FFL, not medical marijauna) had a fully tricked out SR25 complete with scope and suppressor from the factory for $5,000ish. Oh yeah, only one mag in the case!

SR25k's are indeed rare, I think the numbers of them out there are limited to only 100 "k" types.

There's atleast one guy on that forum that actually has one.

CFI used to have one but they probably wanted about 2x's the market price.

IF you want info on pre ban Sr-25k's:

There were 100 pre ban SR-25k's made by Knight's.

The Sr-25k's were serialized 1 to 100....Configured with collapsible stock, removable carry handle, case deflector, removable front sight, 16" bbl with flash suppressor...and came in a fitted Pelican case...Even included a cleaning rod/w guide which was fitted diagonally in the top case lid! Also came with 3 mags....The case had fitted slots for all items(carry handle, front sight sight, bolt/carrier, mags..etc.

All in all a great package...Supposedly shoots 1.5" at 100yds!

I personally had #99 in hand and decided not to buy at the 5K price and also because of the great amount of slop between the upper and lower..

SR-25k #99 was last seen at R N J Guns & Ammo in Carson CA back in '99....Wonder whatever became of it!!!
