Ok guys, time for my next big purchase and it is down to a semi 1919 or .50bmg AR upper.

I am leaning toward the 1919 for these reasons:

I don't have the time it takes available to dedicate to learning to use the .50 effectivley without letting some of my other skills lapse. (lets face it, if you are going to be effective with one of these it will take LOTS of practice and learning)

I have the pedestal mount for the 1919 to mount it in a jeep, my M274 mule, my UNIMOG, or any other vehicle.

I have lots of 30-06 black tip.

They make a hand crank that lets you come real close to F/A withn the semi.

On the other hand, I am tempted to get the .50 because it may be banned soon.

What do you guys think?
