Ahhh, geee, iron sights. M1/M14/M1A are without a doubt the best on a MBR. Everything else sucks. Yeah, some aftermarket AR15 sights are pretty good. In fact, the sights on my DCM Bushmaster are excellent. FAL and true reproductions like DSA iron sights...well, they're ok, to be charitable. Better than the ones on my M48 Yugo Muaser, that's for sure. If you want to see what your M96 will do, scope it. I think you will be happy with the results. I know that I was.

M14 sights are the best, but M16/AR15 sights are right behind them. I can achieve MOA with iron sights on an AR.
