suddenly I may not hate or need to dremmil 19s and 23s |

Oh cool they dremeled the finger grooves off.
Well at least it doesn't shoot you in the leg when you drop it. |
|
Sort of want. I like the idea of having no finger grooves, but I don't know if it's worth retiring my gen 3 G19.

Looks like mag-well is flared. Yay.
Finger grooves are gone. Yay. Stupid thumb rest that's in the wrong place is even bigger. Boo. |
|
Does this mean they are going to continue to manufacture 3 generations of Glocks?

Dropping the finger grooves, may...may get me to buy my first Glock.

Glock owners getting excited about flared magwells and no finger grooves. Gun hasn't changed since the 80's.

Gonna pick myself up a discounted gen 4 g20 when these hit the shelves.

Not long after Gen 4 was released, I said they ought to drop the grooves and release it as Gen 5. Looks like I wasn't far off the mark.

View Quote They are pretty much a non issue on the 17, but they can illicit great hatred on the 19 (as well as the hump on the Gen3)... This is good news for the 19. The front strap mag cut out is/may be a mistake... It sucked on the Gen2. |

Excellent. Now California is two generations behind the rest of the world! I wonder how long Glock will continue producing Gen 3s for California. I guess the roster is working exactly as intended. Too bad I'll never be able to own a Gen 5.
