Im not the one locking threads. The mods do that.

Its real simple, and has nothing to do with me not liking other opinions. It has everything to do with the fact trump threads get locked because they get attacked by trolls.

Either ban trolling, or stop locking threads. As it is, trolls are blocking discussion.

I've always said the quickest way to reduce all this is to institute a rule that requires 50 quality posts outside of GD before access is given.

If that was what happened I wouldnt care. What actually happens is that otherwise useful duscussions get derailed and locked down because of trolling. Trolls dont bring anything to the discussion, rather they end them with the help of the mods.

I dont know if certain mods are intentionally complicit in this or not, but that is what happens.

Hell, slabsides had a (long dormant) account with EE feedback, didn't he? Making a few posts in tech forums and a cheap EE transaction isn't much of an investment.
