Anyone have any advice on a good rail sling mount?

Here are two ideas:

https://www.magpul.com/products/rsa-rail-sling-attachment

https://danieldefense.com/components-parts/mounts/rail-mount-qd-swivel-attachment-point-w-swivel.html

Seems like a good idea to me and some guys at the range use these sorts of attachments to fit a sling. I have an attachment with a loop on the stock alreayd, so just looking for something on the forend.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

AIM has some good ones too.  Just stay away from the eBay/amazon crap.

I hate to admit this, but I know why you say that!

I had a sling from amazon (I thought hell it's blackhawk so will be good) and it snapped while I was taking a picture of myself in it to show a friend (Yes, I'm an armchair commando).

So now I want two loops, to hole a rope so that can never happen again.

Here's the one I got. Lots of great reviews. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014VTRF8/  but not a good idea IMO ... I need to know for absolute certain it won't get pulled at a weird angle and snap!

RSA works well.

Impactweaponscomponents.com (site sponsor) also has good stuff.

I ended up getting this with the paraclip and MS1 padded sling!

Can't wait to get it.

Slightly related... I want to put a mount on my KISS carbine that doesn't have a rail. Does anyone have experience with using the Blue Force UWL?

I have the DD QD one.  It works as expected.  Anti-rotation socket is nice to avoid twists and tangles.

Thank you! I really didn't mean to hijack yours and I hope that you get an answer! I really don't know much about them, otherwise I'd chime in.

Use this Midwest Industries one and like it.  Swivels piss me off as the either spin freely and twist my sling, or the limitation cuts in them pull weird when they max out on their rotation

I use Arisaka Defense's on my MLok handguards and have no complaints.

I use the QD on my AAC .300 blk from KAC 99% of the time and have it with me everyday around the ranch.  I prefer QD's or magpul clips.

I have one of the Magpul RSA QD adapters and it seems solid.  I have since gotten rails with the QD machined in, so I don't use it, but it is metal, feels like it would take abuse well.
