Some people confuse retard strength with being farm strong but its not the same. Also gym muscles turn to fat while farm muscles let you lift hay bales and countless plates when your friends talk you into strength displays at the gym.

I'm trying to figure out who he's talking about.

Farmer Strong?
The farmer Farmer Strong?
The native America farmer, Strong Pony?
Or the native American farmer, Farmer Strong Pony?
Or the 'roided out marijuana farmer Strong Benchpress?
The 'roided out muscleman Strong Benchpress?

Can you be more specific?

this one?

https://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/2019097_Strange-stuff-at-the-Gym-what-have-you-seen-.html#i67382039

Once saw a skinny guy, couldn't have been much more than 150 hop on a bench and knock out reps at 405, like 4 plates on each side. When I asked him how he got so strong he chuckled and said I was wasting my time in a gym and I need to get down on the farm to chuck some hay bales around. I told him he should compete since that weight for such a skinny dude must be a record, he just said something about "functional strength" as he walked away. I'm still in awe to this day.

Throwing hay bales is indeed a test of strength that some
May not appreciate.  My grandfather was a farmer in Alabama
I can attest that he was 5'8 and 170 lbs of beastly strength
Far out of proportion to size and that was when he was in his 60's
More than one old guy I met as a kid would say "you're john Stephens' grandson?"
"Yessir"  "you're grandpaw can outwork a young mule"

But my grandpaw never thought of talked of himself as being strong

Come work on the farm bro, you'll get functional strength.

I don't lift at a commercial "gym" I simply lift hay bails and sofas for a living.  A buddy has a weight bench and I tested out how farm strength applies to a "gym", he put four plates on each side of the bar.  I think I got 4-6 reps.  My body weight was like 140 pounds.

Sigh.  Oly lifting, not crossfit.  And the barbells are not rubber.  Plates would be the word you are looking for.  Maybe if you lifted you would know things a man is supposed to know.

Living rural we have had comments about it. Such as one set of brothers-they would not use a jack to change a tractor tire, one would just pick it up while the other switched the tire. I never doubted they were strong my. But not that strong.

I hauled my share of bails.  Did construction as well, doubled my bench press with shoveling dirt all summer. Throwing four high was not as big of deal after that.

Bumper plates are generally used for Olympic lifts, usually on a wood/rubber platform. I'm not sure if you're trolling or never been to the gym.

Try baleing hay in an enclosed trailer with a greenhouse top and no air movement. And not a couple times a year but every day. I've done both and loading trailers for UPS is harder. Lots of fit people loading but not many "farmer strong" lol. Also the pace at UPS is much faster.

Strongest guys/kid I ever witnessed was part of a family of old school commercial fisherman on Saginaw Bay. Hauling up full nets by hand. In the days before forklifts & bulk totes, these guys hand loaded stake trucks with crates of Perch for market. Crates were 80-100lbs all loaded by hand.

Old school milk trucks drivers were never to be messed with.  In the 60's up to the early 70's milk cans were hand loaded onto stake truck at the farm and unloaded the same way at the local dairy.

I knew a propane delivery guy who could put two 100lb cylinders over his shoulders and walk from truck to regulator.

You're either trying to do 2 things by following around like a puppy and posting shit about my avatar:

1.) Trying to make me feel insecure about the pic and take it down, or generally make me feel embarrassed/ashamed/self conscious. In which case, let me LOL and tell you how much time you're wasting.

2.) You're triggered, so you're trying to make yourself feel better about your own body by shitting on me. In which case, if it works - keep at it.
