Sorry guys, but with me catching and reading the posted terms of service for this thread, I'm out.

Please consider the photo I posted removed from entry. If it was just for editorial use, specific to arfcom, sure whatever. Claiming the right to use it in advertisements, etc, isn't worth an icon or a $10 patch, especially when I don't have anywhere near the right releases that would be needed to fit that ToS. Most of my 'action' shots are just friends that are shooting. For editorial stuff (just posting the photo in a non advertisement/PR sense) it's fine to sell prints and/or publish. Once it gets into anything close to advertisement, I'd need model releases, etc. So the ToS is waiting potential liability that as much as I'd love to post photos for IG, is just a bad idea.

Btw, you guys might want to check and make sure that model/property releases are used in photos posted like that. For example the one I posted would be okay for editorial, but not for commercial, etc as there are no releases signed.

That could seriously kick arfcom and the photographer in the nuts if not properly followed btw. Editorial use doesn't need property/model releases. Anything including trade, advertising, PR, promotions, etc does. @JLA @Stylz just in case you guys didn't know that.

Would be easier and less complicated (IMO) to strike that specific bit and just license the images on a case by case basis, especially if the photographer will need to come up with releases for it. Just my opinion though. I'm not a lawyer and all. Just a nerdy photographer.
