All the tactical chefs around here, can someone please post up a good recipe for a restaurant style ranch dressing?

Here in NOVA we have a restaurant chain called "Firebirds", and they make one from scratch that is hands down the best we've ever had.
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream ¼ cup heavy whipping cream 2 tablespoons dried parsley ½ teaspoon dried dill ½ teaspoon garlic granules ½ teaspoon onion powder ¼ teaspoon basil ¼ teaspoon pepper |
Store:
Kraft Own? Google recipe using buttermilk, mayo and hidden valley ranch packets. This is what we used to do at the restaurant I worked at and it was amazeballs. |
No, but I wish I could buy some Pizza Hut Creamy Italian. That stuff is the crack of salad dressing.

My fav is Hidden Valley packets that you use to make your own. Not from scratch, but better than anything I've tried from a bottle.

Restaurant ranch is 70% mayo, 25% buttermilk and 5% ranch dressing packet, and 100% diabetes.

That's all we use to use, for some odd reason they quit carrying it at costco here. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Greg's from Costco. I won't use any other kind. I put it on baked potatoes, dip my pizza in it and whatever else. |

Buy the hidden valley ranch packet and follow the directions on the back. I despise ranch dressing, but my better half loves it so I made some for her since we were out of the bottled stuff. It is amazing. The only ranch I will even consider to consume. Bleu cheese is the only dressing in my vocabulary

Kraft is terrible. Hidden Valley is the only big brand worth buying. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |
