Last month I went to Northern Tier Bissett Scout base with my youngest Son and a group from our local BSA troop. It truly was an EPIC adventure.
We flew into Winnipeg, rode an hour and a half North on paved roads, then another hour and a half North on gravel roads to reach the little Town of Bissett. From Bissett we flew via float plane another 45 minutes North to reach "Scout Lake". From Scout Lake we spent 7 days paddling and portaging through the Atikaki Wilderness Preserve.

Northern Tier Bissett is The most remote High Adventure activity the BSA offers. It was an AMAZING trip, but WICKED hard in places. If you have the opportunity to do a trip like this with your son, jump on it.

I'll be adding a couple short videos of Float Plane action as soon as they finish uploading to YouTube.
