I would post pics from when I went to the Grand a few years ago, but Photobucket sucks.

There was an $80,000 to $90,000 Perazzi in one glass  case.

Then there was the 4 barrel set going for almost $400,000  .

Am somewhat interested in responses b/c I am considering a CZ sharp tail side by side for upland games and fowl. Like OUs but SxS's have captured my eye as of late.

That pic is from a particular Opening Day every year, that the gentleman from Purdey come out and bring more than a few guns with them. Due to the clientele there, and the atmosphere, these 6 figure guns are laying out for you to FF.

Yes, that's a Purdey next to a Beneli Nova

Their not bad.  Even the $400 baikals were stiff as shit at first but we're reliable field guns.

The SxS's are nice, my buddy picked up a few when CDNN had overruns for $400. The 28 gauge with color case hardened receiver and dark walnut figured stocks was beautiful.

Had a CZ Canvasback in 20 gauge.   Ran it pretty hard for four years.  Great shotgun, loved it.  I would buy CZ/Huglu again if they had something I wanted at a price I wanted.  Sold mine when I upgraded to a Franchi Instinct.  Know a number of folks that also run CZ.  All are uniformly happy with them.  A guy on Shotgun World was doing a long term test.  At last count he had over 20,000 rounds thru his without a problem.

The Turks make nice stuff.  The Turkish firearms industry is quite large.  They can build to any price point a customer wants.  Orvis used them for their shotguns.

I own nothing but 20 gauge.  The deer, turkey, chukar and pheasants don't seem to notice.  My trap scores are better.  My skeet scores are better.  I'll never own another 12.

cheap O/U arent necessarily bad but i would have tried to get one with double triggers.  Those seem to be a little more reliable if you are going the budget route.  In any case ive heard good and bad things about the CZ guns.  Hopefully yours is good.  If not, CZ has good CS.

My O/U's are:
Lanber 12 ga (Spanish)
Stoeger Condor 16 ga (Turkish- Huglu likely)
Remington SPR 310 20 ga (Baikal- Russian)
CZ Redhead 28 ga (Turkish- Huglu)
Baikal .410 (Russian)

The Lanber and CZ each have over 5K rounds through them and no issues so far.

Meh it's a non issue if it is, a couple beers and a hour with some flitz polish and a elbow grease will get it butter smooth.

I'll make you feel better, op.

I own and used to shoot a Remington "Spartan" o/u 12ga. That I purchased for around $400.

I used to shoot skeet every week with it (for a few months) and I never had a problem with it.(mechanically)

I never was able to find more choke tubes for it though, and the finish on  the wood washed off when I took it hunting in the rain once.

I've kinda always wanted one. I occasionally shoot skeet with an 870. The center position is almost impossible (for me) if I have to pump.

Yeah...new they're ~$1200.00. I was like, "shut up and take my money!"

Once in a blue moon I stumble across a deal. I once bought a Vaquero .45 colt, a .30/30 Marlin, and a cheap double barrel 20 gauge...all for $300.00. A guy I know thought he was gonna get into cowboy action shooting - then decided it wasn't his bag. None of those guns had over 100 rounds through them.

Tru Lock Chokes has them.

I've ordered 8 chokes from them. ALL were processed within a few hours and shipped by the next day!

Unfortunately, UPS had to fuck everything up and delay the delivery.

The choke tubes are of good quality and pattern very well in my SPR310 20 ga and CZ Redhead 28 ga.

The finish on my SPR310 was kinda shitty too, but I re-did it with tung oil.
