I make my own mustard. Couple gallons a year is more than enough.

mustard seeds

It ain't rocket surgery. Toasting the seeds before grinding them makes it worth the effort.

I have the Kroeger version. Looks just like that sans the label name/art. I assume it is made in the same place by the same company and just relabeled for individual grocery stores.

I get my mustard from a German deli, they make their own that is like crack and have a large selection of bottled ones I can't pronounce.

Thomy scharfer senf from Germany.

In a pinch: Publix dijon.
French's yellow for slathering on ribs, butts, etc for rub adherence and bark.

Aldi has a variety of mustards they import during their German Days or whatever they call it, that are amazing. I stocked up last time they had them.

The whole grain mustard is awesome on homemade soft pretzels.

The Amish Amana Colonies makes the best German Style mustard I have ever had, and we have the world famous boetje's located nearby, Amana is still better, I don't know how they do it.

Colmans makes a nice basic yellow
