I absolutely love McDonald's standard black coffee.    Runs about $8 at Kroger and I can brew it at home.

A brew that is too placid
may leave a billy flaccid.
But three willies on a billy,
is that too many for a nanny?
If not, then your billy should sup
from the cup that keeps him up.
So fill his cup or apply as a lotion,
then enjoy his three-stroke motion.

Or

Served in bed raises the dead!

Subculture Coffee in West Palm Beach.

Otherwise I just buy random dark roast stuff from my local Publix or Target.

I just refuse to drink Starbucks unless I'm in some horrific pinch.

I usually run Folgers through a reusable cup in the keurig. Out of folgers so today's it's Starbucks pikes peak or whatever with Italian sweet cream from HEB.

I brew my coffee in a French Press. Either hot in the morning, or I put the grounds in and let them steep in the fridge overnight for iced coffee in the morning.

I grind them by hand with a $15 ceramic burr mill from Amazon. Takes about 30 seconds.

The beans? I've tried a lot of expensive beans from across the world. My favorite are, oddly enough, the organic single origin Peru... from Aldi. It's like $4 for 12 oz bag. I'd paid up to $20 for a bag, and this stuff is just better.

This stuff comes in ground form as well. Not what the cool kids drink, but robust, full bodied, and full flavored.
The wife and I enjoy it. We have a hard time finding a grind and roast that is robust enough for us. This one actually fits.
Who'd a thunk it?

I don't drink coffee.  According to all the Jack Higgins "Sean Dillon" spy novels, the best coffee comes from Yemen.

I just met some Ethiopian people they made some good coffee for me.

They started with fresh coffee beans from Ethiopia still green. Roasted them in a pan to a medium roast. Ground them. Used good clean filtered water.  Then if you like more bitter coffee they used a French press, smoother coffee from an Italian moka pot.

The Moka pot coffee was the best coffee I've ever tasted.

Anyone know a good Kuerig blend that has low acidity ?    Or a regular ground coffee as far as that goes.

I'm about to try a French press for the first time.

Whole bean and grind my own lately.  Eight O'Clock is the daily brew.  Caribou is my go to for special brew.
