Yes, but it's a Florida permit. It was easier/cheaper than getting one from Missouri.

I had one in two states until we got Constitutional carry here and in the other state too. Then I forgot to keep track of the expiration date and well..... I will have to take the damned class again.
Yes, even though we have constitutional carry. I got the permit before permitless carry was passed.

I've carried a gun everyday for the last 14 years with a Texas CHL (now LTC)
Yes and it only costs me thirty dollar a year to exercise this Constitutional right
Concealed Weapons Permit but can Constitution Carry if I wanted. I just prefer using the CWP as a background check.

I polished the judge's knob and then he smiled at me and told me we were a shall issue state
Yes, here in Washington it's a CPL - concealed pistol license. I also have a non-resident Utah concealed firearm permit, so I can carry in additional states.
I live in a commie state, that is not 'shall issue.'
I have a FL non-resident permit. |
What exactly would I answer with if I lived in a commie state but also had my pistol permit(Covers both concealed and open carry)?
Alaska CHP, plus it's a constitutional carry state.
ETA, I had to repeat the classes because I let it lapse when we went constitutional. I first got permitted over 20 years ago. I better check the expiration. |
LTCH = License to carry handgun.
Concealed or open carry, either way. If we eventually allow Constitutional Carry then I suppose we'll rename it to a "Concealed Carry License" or similar. Mine is a lifetime license, which I think is a great effort to respect my rights, because a privilege requires renewal, a right doesn't expire... |
Yes and that's even with Constitutional Carry. I travel to Virginia a lot.
Permit to carry weapons here in Iowa. Applies to all weapons legal to own, and allows Open or Concealed carry.
I have a sap that I carry often when walking the dogs, in case of four legged threats. |

Yes. I wish SC would go ahead and pass constitutional carry though.

Yep and yep. And in PA, you don't even need that to open carry unless you're carrying in a vehicle or OCing in Philly. As for easy, $20 for 5 years, takes 15 minutes at the Sheriff's Office and you walk out with it when you're done 95% of the time, in the vast majority of counties in the state. It takes even less time if you print out and fill out the paperwork yourself before you go to the courthouse. I'm of the opinion that as Americans we shouldn't need a permission slip at all, but PA makes it about as painless as possible. ETA: My girlfriend has her permit (as well as an OH one since she's originally from there) and my mom got hers last year for her birthday. They both have their own guns as well. View Quote |

AZ has constitutional carry, but I maintain my CCW to make purchases easier, and maybe reciprocity down the line. So I voted for both options because they do apply.

Yep, Georgia Weapons Carry License. Used to live in commie Maryland. Moved to Georgia three years ago. Been carrying every day since three weeks after I got here. Freedom is pretty kickass. View Quote |

Multiple choice, so I voted "Yes" followed by "I live in a commie state"
Nope. I live in Missouri, temporarily working in Arizona. Both are constitutional carry. The only other state I spend any time in- NM- is permitless for open carry.
Yep
ETA: it's actually concealed weapon permit, so I can legally carry ninja stars, too |
LEOSA
I did pick up an AZ card so I can open carry (Some form of card required to OC due to how the stupid law is written) I'm not going to pay my own state when they've failed the last two sessions now to pass Constitutional Carry. |
Constitutional carry, but I still maintain my CCW for reciprocity.
No waiting when buying guns either. So yeah, in other words |
Yes. I'm a CCW instructor as well.
You can have a death star or brass knuckles on your person with our license |

Yeah a Florida permit but I'm gonna go work based out of California for the next 1-3 years depending on the contract, won't help me there. I'll take some guns out there with me like my Plainfield M-1 Carbine with some 10 round mags and maybe a handgun but I'll have to deal with not carrying for awhile. I need to study up on the laws out there some, I'm used to more freedom.
