MK 19
If that doesn't count as a "gun" then I'd take a M240B or M2. |

Individual: a nice Broomhandle in .30 Mauser.
Man portable, crew served: an MG 42. Sky's the limit: a quad L/60 mount. (I'm a reasonable woman of modest needs. One pair could be demilled.) |

For his 50th? Barrett 50BMG of course, model dependent on budget.

Toss up between a 50cal bolt action and a 44 Deagle. So in true arfcom fashion, I'll say both!

my " realistic" dream gun list is this.
top end... barrett 50 cal. Attached File low end.... semi / sbr sig commando. Attached File id be super happy to have either one of those. |

High-end bolt rifle with high-end glass with all the accessories.
Like, AI rifle, S&B glass, TBAC supppressor, Atlas bipod, good reloading setup. In some flavor of 6 or 6.5mm. |

You are going to have to define 'within reason'.....
For me, right now. GAP 6mm Creedmoor with a Vortex Razor 4.5-27 EBR-2C MRAD scope on top...... |
|
Sig 552 converted to M16 mags, or a full rail SA 1911 with Novak sights and a GI guide rod...in 10mm.

SIG P210, any of the original Swiss models, in either 9mm or 7.65. Not one of the new repros. Every time I'm close to buying one, another major expense comes up and I'm not paying for a gun with a CC. Or my ADD kicks in and I buy another, probably more practical gun or an addition to the ammo fort. View Quote |
