(Within reason) What would it be? My fathers 50th birthday is coming up and I plan on getting him a firearm of his choice. I have about 10months to shop around and find the right one, If it's a gun that isn't readily available obviously.
Me personally would love to have a pre ww2 serial correct m1 garand/carbine duo. So what's your dream gun? |

If we mean what gun IN ADDITION to those I already own, then I guess it would have to be a registered MG42....
|
|
I would love a .50 cal, but I don't know where I could use it... So KAC SR15 and SR25, I want both and will own them someday.

how do you think it holds up to an MG3? View Quote Will run live rounds all day long, blanks on the other hand, it's really up to the gun how they run. I've been in charge of a gun that would ftf/fte every 3rd round. Then would swap to live rounds and would fire 12,000 over a few hours and had zero malfunctions |

I'd quite like to have a Mateba Unica 6 in .357. I know they're stupid and janky, but I want one.

Minigun
I rue the day i wasn't able to attend a 3 gun match sponsored by Larue where they had Dillon bring in a gun for a stage... |

Actually four of them.
Because you just never know when you might have to gun down a human wave attack. Quad .50 Anti-Aircraft Gun Southern Ohio MG Shoot Portsmouth |

I've had my eye on a SCAR for a while. I've got a move coming up before long so it'll have to wait a bit but it'll likely be my next rifle purchase.
That's pretty much all I can think of...within reason |

Being completely impractical because I think they're cool, I want a Hotchkiss Portative. Being more pragmatic, a DIAS or RR AR would probably be my choice.
|
|
If were including NFA stuff, probably a M60-E6
Non NFA: Probably either an SR-25 or Accuracy International Arctic in 338. I would settle for a SCAR17 and in reality, that may be the only one I can actually ever afford. |

If he's someone who carries, a Python w/ a nice holster for it and a matching speedloader pouch would be a cool gift. |

Dan Wesson Bruin
Dick Heinie 1911 Smith and Wesson 29-2 with a 4 inch barrel, NIB, made in 1964. |

If get him something 50 related. Maybe a 50 Guncrafters Industry or a 50-90 Sharps.

A Stg 57 would go nicely with my other Swiss rifles. And I've always loved the Star Wars futuristic look of the thing. And a truck load of GP11 to feed everything.

That I can carry?
American 180 If M4 lowers allowed, then an American 180 upper. |
|
SIG P210, any of the original Swiss models, in either 9mm or 7.65. Not one of the new repros. Every time I'm close to buying one, another major expense comes up and I'm not paying for a gun with a CC. Or my ADD kicks in and I buy another, probably more practical gun or an addition to the ammo fort.

Already started in separate posts, but either a 20mm or a minigun.
Damn, your pops is going to be a happy man. |
