As a native Kentuckian I can tell you we dont just say Kentucky. We have to give you the county too. I never noticed I did this until someone in NOLA pointed it out to me. They asked where I was from and my reply was Boone Co Ky. I've noticed it a lot since then. View Quote Kenny Price -- The Sheriff Of Boone County |

New Yorkers can't stop talking about how great it is ther, yet they still move

California here by a long shot. Then again they've been invading for the last several decades so it is what it is.

Texans, by far. I've said it before and I'll say it again. In Texas. Texans are awesome, welcoming, friendly, will go out of their way to be nice and make sure you enjoy the shit out of your time in Texas. Texans outside of Texas are another thing... they go out of their way to make sure you know that's not how its done in Texas and Texas is better... which is great when they apply that logic to skiing

New Yorkers can't stop talking about how great it is ther, yet they still move View Quote New Yorkers that move out here have nothing but disdain for the city and usually buy houses out in bumfuck nowhere, which is quite an accomplishment by New Mexican standards. Which, by the way, you'll never hear about, because its a little known fact no one has ever escaped the land of entrapment |

Poll Fail, you forgot Chicago.
We have alot of them transplanted in my state. Wanna know how I know they are from Chicago? People from NY and NJ usually don't have to say it because people ask them if they are from there within the first 4 minutes of conversation after of meeting them. |

New Jersey, at least where I live. It usually comes up when their fortitude is questioned; as if toughness is acquired by osmosis.

Rockcastle county, KENTUCKY.
You all. Rowan county has great moonshine. |

Tejas of course....Why I have no idea what with so little of redeeming value there.

We announce we're from Texas because we know it annoys you people from inferior countries.

I work doing phone sales/tech support. Folks from Mississippi and Alabama make damn sure you know where they're from, as if we're supposed to give a shit. Even Texans aren't as vociferous.

I voted NY. We don't all do that, but the people who do are generally douches of the highest order.

Virginians seem to love talking about how Virginia is God's gift to the world.

Texas, but California comes a close second. Followed by anywhere in the South.

New Jersey, followed by incredibly boring midwesterners from usually Minnesota or a Dakota.

Texans. Proudest people I ever met. Houston and Austin seem amazing.

When you're visiting a foreign country, these are the only states anyone ever heard of. It's like the US is made up of just those three states. EDIT- Crap, beaten out by that graphic by a minute. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

While out and about in Canada some time ago, there was a smart ass Canuk giving my buddy from Kentucky shit. Overhearing this, I offered that I was from Texas and inquired of his interest in mutual combat. Due to this experience, I was obliged to vote Texas.

Texas FTW. One of my dad's favorite sayings was "Never ask a man if he's from Texas. If he's not, you'll embarrass him. If he is, he's going to tell you sooner or later." View Quote |

Fucking Texans.
I'm not a native Californian but I married one. Californians run a distant second in "the whole world revolves around us" mentality, but they're still not nearly as bad as Texans. |

"Back home".
Every yankee transplant talks about back home at least 3 times a day. |
