A co-worker of mine will listen to one album of Alice Cooper for 4 hours straight.

Needless to say I can no longer stand any of their songs.

Awesome live show.  And he can cover Morrison extremely well.

If he came out with Schools Out now, the DHS SWAT team would be kicking in his door and shooting his dog.
"Schools blown to pieces", obviously a terroristic militia call to arms.

Seen him back in the 80's and he was still doing his wild stage show. Three car lodes of guys from work all went to Iowa to see him.

From my post in the JP thread you guys can tell I saved most of my concert tickets from way back. This cost a little more and I added the date back then so I would remember the year because this one wasn't on the ticket.

Hope you all enjoy another blast from the past

Saw him twice in concert back in the 70s. Hell of a show.  The guy can also hit a golf ball fairly well.

He used to golf with President Ford. That had to be a wild foursome.

I saw him in 86. He was at the top of his game. Drug and alcohol free, energized and polished. I saw him again last year opening for Motley Crue on their farewell tour. He phoned it in.

Jeese, I've been listening to Alice Cooper for well, over 3/4 of my life.  School's Out came out when I was in Jr. High School. The radio stations always played that song as school let out for summer. It was almost a summer anthem.

Do they still play it on the last day of school? I don't have kids and I don't listen to the radio anymore, so I have no idea.

Been a fan since I was a kid. My 18 year old son has recently discovered Alice Cooper. Our last road trip, we listened to Billion Dollar Babies start to finish and got about half way through Muscle of Love when we got where we were going.

I assumed the guy on the right was you and was speculating that Alice might be a member here too.

It's been a long time since I've shot par.

There was a great interview with him on NPR (yeah, I know...) a while ago.  He talked about being friends with a lot of the old school entertainers, and how they viewed his act;

"When guys like Groucho Marx would come to the show, he always called me, he says, 'You're the last hope for vaudeville.' And he would bring Jack Benny and George Burns and Mae West. And people like that would come to the show, because it was vaudeville to them. They said, 'Ah, remember 1923? The Great Floyd used to do that! Remember? Of course, he would have doves come out of his sleeves when he —' And this was nothing new to these guys. They would, you know, Groucho would come to the show and he'd see it, and he'd go, 'Ah, rawr rawr rawr.' You know, he'd insult everybody there. 'Excuse me, I got to go insult the maitre d'.' You know, that kind of thing. We were best of friends, Groucho and I were. But they saw it as vaudeville, and actually that's what it is. It's rock 'n' roll vaudeville."
