Just one, but I plan on picking up another soon from PSA -- if they would just run 9mm Shield + 3 blem lowers!
|
|
None.
I sold my Shield last summer and vowed to NEVER purchase one again. I do, however, have a Glock 43. |

One. 45 Shield. Purchased a 9mm Shield before the Glock 43 came out. The 9mm Shield works for me and figured "what the hell, why not a .45 Shield". Haven't had time to shoot the .45 yet but soon. Loaded 500 round of 45 ACP and will run them through the Shield this coming weekend.

I hope to get one 9mm non-safety. My only tiny gun is an old S&W model 38.
|
|
I'm tempted to give it another shot at replacing my 642, so far the G43 and Shield 9 (with safety OG model) have failed... may try a 9 no safety this time... or not.

I bought a black one after getting tired of waiting to find an FDE one on sale. Then a couple days after I get my order from them, Brownells puts the FDE on sale for the same price.
May sell my original shield from a few years ago and get an FDE. Probably a couple days after that they'll put the Performance Center on sale for a price I'd pay. |
|
Already had the 9mm.
Bought the .45 during the sale. Waiting on the rebate. |
|
I have purchased zero. The shield never appealed to me. I already have a couple of budget guns anyway.

I EDC a G22 with a TRL-1 and never wanted a Shield, but at $225 after transfer and rebate, I bought one. Can't see regretting anything that isn't a Highpoint for two bones. There are times that a small gun is a good thing, and even though guns are icky, the right number is just one more...
In response to the actual question in OP though: I just got the rebate form filled out last week, so haven't heard anything from S&W yet. |
|
Bought a 9 w/safety. Always heard how great they are compared to a Ruger LC9's. I have both an original LC9 & a LC9s. Wife also has a LC9s.
The S&W is an OK CCW pistol. It's no Ruger. I'd rather have my original LC9 if I had to choose. If you're buying it for a range toy & are willing to change the trigger, it'd be better than the Ruger for that. The bigger grip, specially with the 8rnd, fits my hand a lot better & the pistol is accurate enough. For the price it's a great little gun & I have zero remorse for buying it. This one will wind up in a glove compartment. Pretty much what I bought it for... |
|
I picked up a 9mm with safety, because that price vs. without safety (and some local IPA's) was enough to make me jump. It seems cool. I bought a aiwb holster and some extra 8 rounders, but... I don't know, maybe I'll put it all back in the grinder towards a G34 or something.

Two Shields, one Bodyguard.
They are so fucking cheap........what the heck!! |
|
Thought about getting one but aside from the width it's about the same size as the compact, and I'd rather have the double stack. If the 9c has a rebate I might fo.

Just one. I wasn't planning on buying it, but I wanted something to replace my KT PF9 and couldn't afford the Glock.

None I did put this together in that time http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q613/Johnharden810/fullsizeoutput_4e6_zpstkiqubvl.jpeg~original And bought this used for an OK deal http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q613/Johnharden810/fullsizeoutput_4eb_zpsxomej76k.jpeg~original View Quote Edit: Thanks for all the responses. By reading the original thread, it sounded like that you had to own a Shield, without the safety of course, to even be on arfcom. |

One for the Mrs. Haven't filled out the rebate form yet, though. Go be poor somewhere else

Had one, bought another with PSA's 3 blem lower deal... Someone talk me into a 3rd.
