I don't know who started that great deal alert thread on the Shields, but I am curious as to how many of these pistols the arfcom people have purchased since April 1st. And no, I am not part of the ATF (I have made some poor choices in my life, but never something that bad). I only want to know if my one purchase is normal for arfcom, or if I am really behind the curve.

And just kidding Ice Station Zebra. Everyone knows that you started the legendary thread...

I've been itching to buy a Shield in 45. Anyone have one? Any feedback? I figure if you're going to carry a single stack, might as well have one that makes a bigger hole. It would replace my Kahr CW9.
