A friend of mine was watching an Iraqi emplace an IED. My friend was calling in the report and to get further guidance while he observed the Iraqi insurgent.
The Iraqi insurgent emplaced the IED, fiddled with some bits and bobs, stood in front of it for a second to look it over, then pushed the button to make sure it worked. It did. |

On the plus side, it was a weak IED so he survived for a minute to writhe around on the ground and contemplate what an epic failure he is.

Don't be so quick to judge, you'd be surprised at some of the things I've seen Americans do with ieds too.

What the fuck was he thinking? What was his best case scenario?
How the hell could you ever make peace with people whose brains are so clearly wired wrong? |

No, the Taliban were not hurt. That was almost certainly some innocent kid who's family had a gun to their head. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |
