I bought a 1948 GMC 450 series 2.5 ton truck at auction. Looks just like a late 40's pickup with a tad bigger tires. It broke down every 2 miles on the 15 mile trip to get it home.
Every stop had 3 to 5 guys stop to take a look and talk about it. Even when it ran, took an hour to get gas because 2 or 3 guys would stop to check it out and talk about it. I would have preferred it attracted ladies, but talking to farmers is fun too I guess. |

This gets a lot more looks with the Kannonball graphics on it.

People actually compliment me on my 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium.
I am surprised but I enjoy it quite a bit. |

Yes at the Pizza place today a woman driving an $80,000 SUV told me that my 2016 Ford XL truck was very nice looking truck! I have heard this approximately 5 times since I purchase the truck in September. Thanks for reminding me and asking.

Yea, I get a lot of waves and hand signs out windows. I've only owned it for a few weeks, too. It's been fun.

Have 76 vet and gets lots of attention
In 2004 bought a Dodge SRT-4 and there wasn't hardly any around at the the time and younger people swarmed to it. Similar to what your getting but what you have is very uncommon and can see you getting lots of attention. The SRT many wanted to race it and the vet more they like to listen to it and want me to do burn outs. |

Had a vette at 19 older guys loved it more then I did.
I had a 2011 5.0 mustang before you could walk in and get one. At that time it was quite a magnet. The BMWs I drive now mostly only get attention from other BMW enthusiasts. General car guys know nothing about them or the powerplants in them and typically overlook, which is fine with me. I don't need the man love. |

I have a 2008 diesel grand cherokee with steel wheels.... once they hear the diesel engine it is game on.

My 911 Targa got compliments.
My Jeep, not so much. I prefer the Jeep but am happy to have gotten the "sportscar" thing checked off the list. |

Yep, you can probably figure out what. If not that is ok too.

My stock ST would spin the tires in second during the winter time (because the summer tires got so hard). It was pretty annoying and probably the main reason I wanted an AWD car. THe poor traction and torque steer are why I had no interest in modding that car.. I figured I'd just be making my two biggest gripes even worse I may do some basic mods to the RS. But I don't want to void the warranty, so I am holding out for an FRPP tune for it. If that doesn't happen (or is just a lame tune) I will probably wait until I have about 10-15k miles on the car then go with an aftermarket option. View Quote |

I've had a lot of "enthusiast" vehicles over the years, none of them expensive or unusual. I get compliments all the time. Land Cruisers, Volvo 240 wagon, Range Rover, Bronco, etc.

Aren't the Mountune packages for the RS factory supported like for the ST? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

That's too bad. I decided with my ST just to do a filter/remove the lid and the Ford Racing tune. The car already has traction issues stock, no reason to make it worse. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

No
My car model has been labeled as "one of the best kept secrets on the road" No one pays attention to it. (which is how I like it). |

As a matter of fact just today I was getting in my 2001 Ford Taurus and some redheaded gal came up and asked if it was for sale. When I told her it wasn't she said, "Too bad, I've been looking to buy one for like $900 and a some pussy. It's kinda tight too."

I probably get more compliments in the Miata than the Camaro. View Quote My 1991 (NA) is red and has a Hard Dog roll bar on it and other than that it's pretty basic. My bone stock 2005 Ram 3500 4x4. I keep it clean, but for some reason people just love that truck. One time I valeted at Treasure Island, and when I came out it was parked right up front next to the Maseratis and ferraris. When the Valet pulled it around, people were gawking at my retractable running boards. View Quote Kinda like if you put out a couple of hot dogs at a steak barbecuing. Yes. Believe it or not a lot of people compliment me on my awesome Volvo 240. I'm not kidding. It's in tiptop shape and has a really awesome paint job, that is the say the paint is not all fucked up.
It basically looks brand-new when I wash it |

I bought a 2006 BMW Z4 6 months ago. I have had over a dozen strangers compliment the car. People pull up to me in traffic and tell me how much the admire the car.
