Yup, sure do. When I drive my V8 all wheel drive, six speed, Audi S4 I don't get a single word. But when I drive my old stock turd of a 1998 Acura Integra(fancy civic) I get all the boy racers drooling and saying "nice teggie!". So, yes, I know the boys who gawk at your car. View Quote I don't think I would have been surprised if I got attention from younger guys, but oddly enough, it has been middle age guys. |

Before I sold my Challenger for a pick up I used to get tons of people giving me thumbs up.

As the driver of the car in my avatar yes and I am jealous of your RS. We have sold two and I didn't get to drive either of them. Our parts rep has an RS and he took me for a ride it. Off the line it is quicker than mine for sure. 40-100 roll on it would be close. Mine is tuned, intake, exhaust and some other stuff so I should be about 40-50hp over stock. View Quote |

When I do, it is typically redneck boys. Especially up around my property in TN.
I drive a black F150 Lariat crew cab 4X4. |

I'm fairly certain people want to complement me on my 2000 Ford Focus, but they are just too shy.

It would be close for sure. The RS weighs about 150-200lbs more than the ST, that would probably eat up the power difference between your car and a stock RS. I had an ST before this. It was a quick car, but there was no denying the zero traction FWD was really holding it back. Hopefully the next generation ST has at least a basic AWD system. I love not having to worry about traction anymore.. just kick the gas and go. The power delivery of my stock ST actually made it feel faster than my RS when just zipping around town at part throttle. I agree the FWD in the ST is its limiting factor. If I am driving my car "hard" it breaks loose in second gear with the traction control on. With it off it is basically a smoke show in first and still some spin and smoke in second. With a tune, exhaust and intake you should be able to get the RS to 375 or so horse power. Just a tune would wake it up a ton. |

yep and lots of head nods of disappointment from the rare hippy here in north Texas. Hippy tears measure out to be 103 octane. Thanks hippies for the free gas! I work around a bunch of young NATO fighter pilots and they all tend to track me down and ask questions about my mullet. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh78/bullf-16/20121113_175351.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh78/bullf-16/20121112_221324.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh78/bullf-16/IMG_0786_zpsa308bd89.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh78/bullf-16/IMG_0838_zps643be092.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh78/bullf-16/IMG_0841_zps1a19294a.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh78/bullf-16/20151106_172944_zpsz4pffckx.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjsmgz1OqOM View Quote |

My 1978 crew cab dually, lowered, Alcoas, limo tint, white paint, always got stares. I have show cars, but that truck really got attention. Cops stopped me 4 times. Tint ticket once. (California)

I doubt they are going to make both of them AWD. That is the whole reason to make the RS in the first place. I agree the FWD in the ST is its limiting factor. But I don't want to void the warranty, so I am holding out for an FRPP tune for it. If that doesn't happen (or is just a lame tune) I will probably wait until I have about 10-15k miles on the car then go with an aftermarket option. |

I have no interest in owning one.. but every time a Challenger goes by, I can't help but check it out. They are seriously nice looking cars. Easily the best of the retro design attempts in recent years.

I've got a big Ranchhand bumper on my F-250 that I get a lot of looks and comments on.
The guys at work think I should put patio furniture on it. |

I had a lowered Toyota Yaris with JDM Vitz badges, got a lot of questions. It was also loud with aftermarket wheels.

2009 Saab Aero AWD, gets lots of comments from the Saab crowd which is not so big in south Florida.
2007 Duramax Suburban. Lots of comments. 1986 BTR clone. Attention whore. |

I used to have a 3000GT that was a complete pile of shit (mechanically, like every single 3000GT ever) that got absolute non-stop compliments when it wasn't in the shop. At virtually every red light, people would either roll down their window and want to talk about it or race it. It was never a good car, but I guess the styling attracted a lot of attention. http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd519/generalpurpose87/Car%20-%20GT%20103_zpsms7orliv.jpg View Quote |

I had a 2016 WRX, always clean. Besides everyone wanting to race a few asked for pictures and many complimented it. It wasn't that rare.

I had one of the first Smart cars in WI. I would park next to my buddy's beautiful 911. Down on campus, I'd get groups of hot chicks come and talk to me and ignore his 100k 911.
The look on his face...... |

I have a restored 1970 Honda Trail 90 that I use hunting, camping, and sometimes ride to the store in summer. People my dad's age are always going nuts over it. Seems like every guy over 50 had one of these things back in the day.
I don't doubt if I put it up for sale I would sell it within the day at a good profit. |
