Thanks for the info. I don't know why I haven't made it out there yet. It's only ~45 minutes from me.

Hopefully everything is alright. I love living in North Texas, but tornadoes are about the only downside...always have a plan, fellas.

Fort Worth really dodged a bullet today. At noon it was 91*...now it's 57*.

I think it's gonna be pretty much cordoned off so they can deal with the SAR and to prevent looting.

Yeah it is. Before leaving to get more supplies I got to my sisters house before any emergency help arrived. By the time I got back they had things shut down tight but let me in to help move somethings around.

Doesn't appear to be much rotation left in that front. That or I'm too far from the radar site.

The front is about equidistant now between KDFW and Shreveport. The radar image only goes down to about 10,000' above ground level.

Sister has no power north and east of canton about 10 min. They are probably going in to help. Hope everyone is safe.

Have a co-worker that lives in Grand Saline. Said they received so much hail that it looked like it had snowed rather than hailed.

Hope power comes back quickly. One of those cheap two-stroke generators from harbor freight will run a refrigerator.

TRG just sent that roads were closed because trees are down, his house is livable, power is out but has generator running.

He said it looks like Jarrell on his road.

If you are wondering, google Jarrell, Tx Tornado. It was one of the most powerful storms ever recorded.

Judging from the pics I have seen, this was a very powerful storm and there is going to be a lot of damage.
