First date my now ex wife and I went on. Concert was at a small local place- Deftones, Pantera, White Zombie. One of the few things I still remember as enjoyable when she was involved.

In my younger years I loved Pantera and Superjoint. Still do but...

I'm finding myself listening to Down more and more nowadays.

I don't think people realize the true impact that man had. Incredible musician..there is a 10 minute long vid (youtube blocked here) of Dime performing and hanging out at a record store..just so into performing, playing and being there...you can see it in him.

I'll be 44 in May ( May 30th if ARFCOM wants to get me something nice

), and I still crank Down..and all sorts of Metal. Reason why I am getting back into learning guitar.

Him and Vinnie owned a couple of strip clubs in the Dallas area and would routinely hang out with fans there all night long if they were in there from what I'm told.

That's the true De Tomaso Pantera. Late one evening I was going home from work and I started to enter a 1/8 mile section of highway that was in a tunnel. I was doing about 70 mph and a car came up from behind me and passed me like I was standing still. The impressive part was that he must have been doing about 100 mph and his engine wasn't even straining a bit, just a muffled roar as he swept by me by. It was a De Tomaso Pantera. That was a cool vehicle.

Edit: Never heard of the singer.

Never really liked their music. Fucking Hostile is about the only one.

There was a time though, good guys, down to earth.

This July will be my 6th time seeing them live.

Met and hung out with them at Mayhem 2014 and last time they came tearing thru Detroit

. Right now, my favorite band. Chad gave me a hug when I told him something that dawned on me about Mudvayne..got the pic of us "embracing"..can post later.

Wife and I dipped into the venue when they were very early setting up, doors open...I was meeting a DJ there that was hosting a station event..Tom Maxwell. my wife and I literally hung out for what seemed an eternity. Dude can shred.

Got pic's with all of them, I did it "live" here in GD too
